TRACK DESIGN
Published in the 2016 Yearbook (Spring Supplement)
This design portrayed the dedication and commitment that the athletes of the track team possessed. I tried to convey the effort that the athletes put into their events, and then the accomplishments made at their track meets. I believe I effectively conveyed this because there are a range of photos portaying practices and meets that are blended in a cohesive design. While designing this, I learned about the format of photos and the importance of leaving room for captions. Having a dominant photo, such as the photo of the runners in the middle of the page, helps to anchor the other photos and help the page look better. I am most proud of how the photos are displayed and how there is a lot of action appearing on the spread. The yearbook benefited from this design because it helped display the hard work and achievement of Glendale's track team.
